Description
A Mountain Lion Trailman who receives his Forest Award is eligible to earn Sylvan Stars through continued participation in the Mountain Lion patrol. Sylvan Stars are earned by completing the requisite number of Steps in each branch. One Sylvan Star is awarded for each branch completed, for a maximum of seven stars.
Piercing the Forest Award with a Sylvan Star can be difficult, as there are multiple layers of threading at the point of insertion. We recommend it be done by an adult, using an awl or heavy needle to pre-pierce the hole.
