My troop was concerned that the delivery of awards would be after the next award ceremony but delivery was less than a week making my purchase perfectly timed. My AHG ladies were a little envious. Great fulfillment improvement Trail Life.

These badges are great and the quality is really good but the loop tends to slip off the uniform button. Trail life needs to come up with a better method for holding the loop on the buttons. I have also seen these loops tear leading to the badge having to be replaced.

Badges arrived “just in time” for presentation event – thank you. All the looped badges have 2 issues; loop comes off button on back of pocket flap and the loop comes unglued from back of the patch. Consider providing a split metal ring that could be placed around the loop then crimped down to slightly tighten against the loop cords. It could be slid up and down the loop to install over the button and then slid up under the button to keep the badge in place hanging from the button. An alternate glue maybe needed to prevent/minimize loop coming off back of patch.

As others have mentioned, the loop is oversized which results in the badges falling off easily. Take a similarly colored zip tie and tighten it over the loop parallel to the loop’s travel. After you snip the tail off the zip-tie you can use the zip-tie’s body as a slider to tighten the loop to the button. Slide it up to secure the loop to the button and slide it down when removal of the badge is necessary. Hope this helps!
