Chest width: Measure across the chest one inch below the armhole when laid flat.

Sleeve Length: Measure from where the shoulder seam meets the collar, across the shoulder, and down the sleeve to the hem.

Good jacket for cold weather

I tried it out. At 26-degrees, plenty warm with just a flannel shirt beneath. At 15-degrees and windy I needed a fleece and flannel shirt beneath. In a warm car it is a little too warm. Might wear it below zero, but would need more layers beneath. Great outer shell.
It stopped the wind beautifully. Good wind stop and water resistant outer shell and quilted inner layer. When the wind was too sharp for just a stocking cap, I used the hood and was delighted that it stopped the wind on my head, too. I suggest you buy it a size larger so you can layer up under it. Style does NOT matter below freezing, only function. Even so, this jacket does it, and looks nice, too. Very happy with this coat.

I really like the jacket it fits nice I love the color and the embroidery was really nice looking also.
