Description

IMPORTANT: Parents – please check with your troop leaders for the proper Troop number format before ordering!

When choosing your numbering and state, consider the following:

  1. Troops shall be permitted to add a colon (:) in their own materials or on the uniform to set off scriptural reference. A colon displayed in a Troop number helps define how the Troop number is spoken.
  • For example:
    • Troop 2:15 — Usually spoken as “Troop Two Fifteen”
    • Troop 21:5 — Usually spoken as “Troop Twenty-one Five”
    • Troop 2:1:5 — Usually spoken as “Troop Two One Five”
  1. The two-digit state code shall precede 4 numbers. For example, FL-0000 or NC-0000. Using other grammatical markers (other than the hyphen after the letters) along with the state letters will not be possible. Troops can decide whether or not to display the leading zeros (ex. AK-0679 could be displayed as AK-679).

Instructions for Application: Sew your Troop Number and State patch ¼” below the seam on the right sleeve.

Do Not Buy!

Our troop has ordered from EoD for years with no issues until now. I share the same sentiment as others below. Order was placed in February and still have not received the patches. No shipment notification either. Two online contact forms to the company have been done as well as calling and leaving a message, but we have not received any calls back or other communication from the company. Do not waste your money and find a local company to make your troop patches. Hopefully Trail Life will find a new vendor soon.

Poor Serive over 5 Years Straight

It takes Months to get patches. Very poor customer service. We need to find another vendor.

Buyers, beware!

We placed an order for 100 patches in December 2023 understanding that holidays and awards season may cause some minor delays in processing. After waiting all of January and half of February 2024, we finally received an email that our order had been shipped on February 14th; except it hadn't. Our order was (still is) showing to have a label created but nothing more.

We reached out to the vendor the following week and were told that a snowstorm had caused some shipping delays but were assured our order would be shipping out by February 21st or 23rd. Except, once again, it didn't, and still hasn't. We then sent emails March 4th, 10th, and 22nd, all of which went unanswered. I want to point out that, in all communications, we were very respectful, apologized for reaching out to check, trying not to increase their workload, but legitimately curious about our order status since our committee was wanting the patches, and a large portion of our new troop members remain without a troop uniform patch.

After receiving no further response from the vendor (Alison at Embroidery on Demand), we filed a complaint with Trail Life. Trail Life managed to get a response from the vendor, who reported she had shipped the order with a different tracking number and stating that number had been emailed and that she would send it to us again once she got "to the shop this afternoon." Only, you guessed it, she didn't. And she still hasn't. We have checked our inbox, spam box, junk box, deleted box, and nothing. Our calls to the vendor remain unanswered and unreturned; I finally emailed her today, March 27th and expressed how silly this has become.

Trail Life has tried to help by calling and copying the vendor on the communication we have had, but this has yielded little outside of what are essentially lies from the vendor regarding our order.

I am unsure how this vendor continues to be utilized by Trail Life, especially after reading some of these other reviews. I apologize for coming across negative, I only want to keep other troops who may not have lots of funds available to be aware of what you may encounter when ordering from this vendor.

At this point, I think we would be better off taking up sewing and making our own patches.

Perfectly done

Took a while to get them, but they were done perfectly. No complaints. Looking forward to putting this on our troops uniforms.

DO NOT BUY

Until Trail Life finds a new vendor (I HOPE THEY'RE SEARCHING), DO NOT BUY from Embroidery on Demand. We ordered 6 months ago and still NOTHING. They don't respond to emails. So disappointing when you're working on a tight troop budget as it is.
