For members over 18 years old, it carries their ID cards, which include their member active dates, Child Safety Youth Protection Training certifications, and more.

    I wish they were either adjustable or that there was a kid size. I sewed the clasps on lower and trimmed some of it off so it fit my son better. Heā€™s so thrilled to have a lanyard though, either way.

    I do not like the lanyard and believe there are other ways to identify members. It is a choking hazard, does not easily break away and only works as identification the 50% of the time it is flipped the correct direction.

    the plastic sleeve breaks easily, either at the top where the clasp attaches or the bottom splits open. It should be stronger to withstand regular boys playing around at troop. or else sell the plastic sleeves separately.
