Every WT leader needs this book to help guide the program and equip you for meetings and advancement.

If you buy the trail guide for your kid it has everything you need as a trail guide. You can gather the resources in this book, for the most part, from on line. Buy if you don't mind spending money, but otherwise you can probably do without by viewing the online videos available on the trail life forum/website.

I am just starting my journey with Trail Life USA. I needed to learn all about the organization and the process of the troop. The Trail Leaders Guide has it all or at least as much as I can absorb. There are some differences in the material in it and the material I had looked at on line with titles, organizational charts and the material associated with it. But I can wade through it. It arrived in great time and packaged well.
