TLUSA Encourages Troops to Partner with Samaritan’s Purse

Hurricane Florence made landfall delivering 90 mph winds and heavy rains. This massive storm caused severe flooding in North and South Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, and Georgia. Many Trail Life Troops on the east coast have been affected. Please keep residents of the East Coast in your prayers.

The Samaritan’s Purse North American Ministries team has been preparing—packing up equipment and stocking disaster relief units full of tools and supplies. Volunteers are needed to serve homeowners in the hardest hit areas. Be a part of helping people recover while also offering the hope of eternal salvation found only in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Trail Life USA is encouraging members to sign up to volunteer through the Samaritan’s Purse website.  They will contact you once they know specifically how to respond.

If you are unable to volunteer or help in any way, we urge you to please consider donating to enable volunteers through the ministry of Samaritan’s Purse to help those hardest hit by the storm.

Thank you for being Christ’s hands and feet,

Walk Worthy!
